After a piece of DC fan artwork had made its way onto the internet from BossLogic, many people are expecting this Twilight star to play the role of Batman. A fan art of Robert Pattinson as Gotham’s Caped Crusader had become viral and the fans are wondering if this may come to pass.
The Matt Reeves-directed movie is yet to get its Bruce Wayne-all the fans know for sure as of now is that Ben Affleck has hung up his cape and cowl and will not be Batman in the movie. However, Bat-shaped spotlight that is illuminating The Batman has led to Jon Hamm, Nick Jonas and Armie Hammer, being linked with this role.
According to BossLogic, Robert Pattinson is also being eyed for the role:
“A choice that I never would have thought to try but been hearing some background chatter about Robert Pattinson being looked at, if the talks (source) are true then all of our predictions were wrong. This might be your new Bruce!”
Before the fans get away with this, Pattinson might have cut his teeth in the Twilight franchise, but he has since cemented his career credentials with a lot of strong performances like High Life, The Lost City of Z and The Rover.
The Batman will release on June 25th, 2021.
