The single, Malamante from her second album, became very famous and also earned five Grammy nominations. Her second album, El Mal Querer was released in 20018 and ranked at number 2 on the PROMUSICAE chart. She earned her first Grammy Award for the album and became the first female recipient of the Latin Grammy Award for Album of the Year since 2006. She also made a small cameo in the film, Penelope Cruz in 2019. She sang the theme song for the Spanish Netflix show, Paquita Salas. She performed at the 62nd Grammy Awards in 2020 and ended up winning the Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock.
