We live in a tough world. Yes, there are things that are beautiful and awesome, but, life is challenging, and we need entertainment, larger than life crime-fighters and a lot of hope to keep us motivated. That is why we love the comic book stories and characters so much. There are superheroes who constantly prevail over the evil and display extreme bravery, intelligence, wealth and so much more that inspires us. The best thing is that the comic book superheroes no longer remain confined to the printed books, but, also appear on TV, big screen and in video games. Fans love them and go to great lengths to display their love and appreciation. One of the most prevalent methods of showing this love is by cosplaying the beloved characters on special occasions and Comic-Cons.

As far as the Comic-Cons are concerned, the San Diego Comic-Con is probably the biggest such convention in the whole world, and thousands of fans eagerly wait for it every year. It is a perfect merger of popular and nerdy cultures, and it includes various genres and media. This year, the SDCC was held between July 19th and 22nd. As expected, thousands of fans, geeks, and passionate cosplayers descended on the event.

While there are some people who visit the Comic-Con for the numerous panels, there are others who go for the autograph signings. However, there are others who just go there to hang around at the event, but, probably the most famous and noteworthy segment of the attendees are the cosplayers.
