Latanne Rene “Tahnee” Welch (born December 26, 1961) is an American actress and model.
Tahnee Welch was born in 1961 in San Diego, California. She is the daughter of father James Welch and mother Raquel Tejada (actress Raquel Welch). She has an elder brother Damon Welch who is an actor too.
Most of her childhood was spent between England, Spain, Italy & finally settling to an all-girls school in the United States. She appeared with her mother in a 1967 photo in Ladies’ Home Journal.
Her film career began starring opposite Virna Lisi in Italy. After returning to the U.S., she starred back to back in Ron Howard’s Cocoon and its sequel, Cocoon: The Return. She portrayed a beautiful alien in them. She also portrayed the role of Princess Rosebud alongside Meghan Fairchild in the Golan Globus adaptation of Sleeping Beauty.
She continued working mostly in German & Italian film and television productions after returning to Europe. She also appeared in American independent pictures like ‘I Shot Andy Warhol’, ‘Sue’, and ‘Search and Destroy’. In the 1996 video game Ripper, Welch portrayed the role of Catherine Powell.
In the November 1995 edition of Playboy, Welch posed for a nude pictorial. She also posed in a handbra on its cover. Welch appeared in Italian Vogue, American Vogue, British GQ, Interview, Italian Moda, French Marie Claire, and German Bunte magazines.
