Tegan Nox, a.k.a Staffaine Rhiannon Newell is one of the famous WWE participants. Starting with football, Staffaine turned to wrestling when she was 16. She proved that nothing is impossible if you put your best efforts. Since the turning of her career, she signed with WWE, British independent circuit, Progress Wrestling, Attack! Pro Wrestling and Fight Club: Pro. Staffaine is commonly known as her ring names, Tegan Nox and Nixon Newell.
Staffaine was born on 15th November 1994, in Bargoed, Wales. When Staffaine was a little girl, she used to play football. Even when she was 13 years old, she participated in the trials for both the Welsh national team and the Cardiff City.
However, she had to withdraw from her football career due to a knee injury. During that time, Staffaine already got a place in the under 16 team of Wales football team. But that was not the end for Staffaine. After retiring early from her football career, Staffaine joined the Port Talbot school of professional wrestling under the guidance of Dave Stewart.
Staffaine started her professional wrestling in 2014 with Attack! Pro Wrestling. She won the Attack! 24/7 Championship twice by defeating Mark Andrews and Pete Dunne. In January 2015, she played the Luchadora The Explorer character. In January 2016, Staffaine joined the great team Bayside High.
In 2015, Staffaine joined the Fight Club: Pro as the first woman wrestler. In 2017 she departed from the Fight Club: Pro, and to honor her for being the first women wrestler, the club named a show after her.
In 2016, Staffaine joined her Progress Wrestling career and also participated in the Shimmer Women Athletes. In July 2016, Staffaine debuted in What Culture Pro Wrestling by defeating Bea Priestley. However, the next day she got defeated by Bea Priestley. They both gave each other a fierce competition in the ring, and in 2017 Staffaine ended up losing to Bea. After that, Staffaine joined WWE, and since 2017 she is active in the field.
