Stacy Carter aka Kat is known as an American professional wrestling valet and professional wrestler. Her most popular association has been with the World Wrestling Federation where she performed under the name The Kat.
Though not a trained wrestler by any means, she made quite a splash in the franchise. She won the Women’s Championship once in a dominating albeit out of the box fashion. She was one of the original bombshells to grace WWE, and became the first woman to flash her breasts. It sort of started this trend of intentional nudity in the franchise. After that she participated in such instances of nudity for pay-per-views.
Her first appearance in the federation happened in pay-per-views in August 1999. Her first part was Kitty who was an assistant to Debra. She was appointed with Debra by Jeff Jarrett, whom Debra managed. The partnership ended when Jarrett left the company, and henceforth Carter began to manage Chyna sporting a black wig. In the same year she won the Women’s Championship by stripping their competitors’ gowns and then she herself stripped and flashed her breasts.
She then changed her name to The Kat and successfully defended her title in one match. She ultimately lost to Hervina in a Lumberjill Snowbunny match. She then got an on screen rivalry with Terri Runnels. After being released by WWE for her negative attitude she started working in independent circuits under her real name. Carter married Jerry Lawler in 2000. They later separated and she is now married to professional wrestler Nick Cvjetkovich.
