Here Is WB’s Rumored Short-List For The DCEU’s Next Batman

Ben Affleck has announced that he would leave the DCEU franchise due to Matt Reeves’ persistence of making an independent Batman story, and now, WB is looking for a new and young Batman. Batfleck’s tenure as the Dark Knight had come to an end and all the fans can now admit that he had deserved a really good Batman film. The actor, Ben Affleck had stepped down as the director of the upcoming The Batman movie since it had added a lot of pressure on him along with the pressure of the actor’s personal life.

While this movie is almost two years away from its release date, WB is now on the hunt for an all-new Batman. WB is now looking for a much younger actor, who will fit in the age range of 25-35 years as Matt Reeves is all set to tell a story that will be set in the early days of the Caped Crusader.  All the rumours have suggested that Penguin may be the villain.

The likes of Robert Pattinson, Armie Hammer and Jake Gyllenhaal, have much higher odds. This is what was has been revealed on the latest podcast episode – Ansel Elgort, Dylan O’Brien, Logan Lerman, Noah Centineo, Jack O’Connell, Kit Harrington, Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Richard Madden, Robert Pattinson, and Armie Hammer. But we can remove the likes of Ansel Elgort and Noah Centineo as they are way too young for the role.

The Batman will release on June 25, 2021.
