Winifer was born on 6^th January 1995, in Santiago, Dominican Republic. Since she was just ten years old, she started her volleyball training under Miguel Duran. In 2011, she won the bronze medal in Girls’ Youth Pan-American Cup, as well as the best libero award. In that same year, she helps her club, Cienfuegos, to win the gold medal.
