Yasmine Pahlavi was born on 26th July 1968. She is the Crown Princess of Iran, a lawyer and the wife of Reza Pahlavi, the last crown prince of the former Imperial State of Iran. She attended the private Tehran Community School in Tehran until the rising tensions in the late 1970s urged her family to leave Iran forever. They resolved in the San Francisco area in California where she attended and matriculated at Notre Dame High School. Yasmine is a graduate of George Washington University, attaining a B.A. in Political Science, and a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from its Law School. She is a component of the Maryland Bar Association. She worked for ten years as a staff attorney for Children’s Law Center in Washington, DC, affecting the rights of at-risk and underprivileged youth. Yasmine was also the Co-Founder and a Director of the Foundation for the Children of Iran founded in 1991, the purpose of the Foundation was and remains to give health care benefits to Iranian children or children of Iranian ancestry regardless of race, color, ideology, spiritual or political affiliation. She resigned from her lead character and any association with the Foundation on 11th February 2014. On 27th November 2018, she declared that she is striving with breast cancer.
Yasmine wedded Reza Pahlavi on 12th June 1986, and the couple has three daughters Princess Noor Zahra Pahlavi, Princess Iman Pahlavi, Princess Farah Pahlavi. The family stayed in exile in the United States. Princesses Noor and Iman are attending universities in the United States, and Princess Farah is enrolled in a secondary school in the United States.
