2. 1949 E90 AJS Porcupine

The bike was built by Associated Motor Cycles that debuted in 1945 with a horizontal-engine designated E90S. It was the only World Championship win for AJS, but instead of the victory, the bike has been often cited as unreliable.
The engine of the bike was a unit construction and the gear drive for the camshafts was on the right of the motor. The E90 cylinders were horizontal and it had an open frame.
