1. 1963 Ferrari 250 GT0
Price- $70 million
The most expensive car in the world is none other than 1963 Ferrari 250 GT0 that was manufactured between 1962 and 1964. When the car was new, the car was sold cost $18,000 in the United States but in June 2018, when the car sold in a private sale, it cost $70 million. 36 of the car were manufactured.
The car was ranked 8th in 2004 on a list of Top Sports Cars of the 1960sby Sports Car International. The car was designed to compete in Group 3 GT racing. The interior of the car is minimalist and there are no seats are cloth-upholstered, speedometer, and headliner. The car is powered by 168/62 Comp. 3.0 L and it produced 300PS at 7500rpm and the gearbox was a new5-speed unit.
2. 1956 Aston Martin DBR1
Price- $22.5 million
The car has been started to build in 1956 for the World Sportscar Championship. It is one of the three cars in the 1950s that won both Le Mans 24 Hours and the World SportsCar Championship in the same year. It is also notable for making an appearance in the film, The Sound and the Fury in 1959.
The body of the car evolved from the DB3S’s shape, and the back of the front wheel was not left open. The car was initially fitted with a small 2.5-liter racing engine. The car featured full bodywork with a large triangular vent on the side. In 2017, the car has been sold for a world record price of $22,555,000.
3. Bugatti La Voiture Noire
Price- $19 million
Bugatti La Voiture Noire is a one-off special edition of Bugatti which was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2019, the design of the car is similar to the Type 57 SC Atlantic and the car has a hand-built body made of carbon fiber.
The car is powered by the 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine and the car has a floating window and a masked A-pillar. The car also has six exhaust pipes with the innovating design of the past. It has electric motors instead of the engine. The car has been sold for $19 million and made it one of the most expensive cars to date.
4. Rolls Royce Sweptail
Price- $12.8 million
One of the most luxurious cars was made by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in the United State and it made her debut in May 2017 at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este event.
The car is hand-built and was inspired by coachbuilding of the 1920s and 1930s. The costing of the most expensive car is $12.8 million and 2019, it was overtaken as the most expensive car by La Voiture Noire. The director of design at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has described the car as the automotive equivalent of Haute couture. The car is an extension of the 103EX Concept that Rolls Royce showed to make personalized futuristic cars for the company.
5. Bugatti Centodieci
Price- $8.9 million
Bugatti Centodieci is an homage to the Bugatti EB110. It is a limited edition mid-engine sports car that is produced by French Automotive manufacturer Bugatti.
The car’s design is very similar to EB110 including the five-round air intakes that resemble a diamond. The rear has eight tail lights with matt-black quad exhaust pipes. The design team could complete the design for the use of computer-assisted 3D design techniques. Only 10 cars will be produced and it will be hand-built in Bugatti’s Molsheim factory. The delivery of the car will start in 2021.
6. Mercedes Benz Maybach Exelero
Price- $8 million
Mercedes Benz Maybach Exelero is a one-off high-performance car and it was made by Stola along with DaimlerChrysler and the car was first launched in 2005 at the Tempodrom in Berlin.
It was the second car to serve as a one-off show car and the first being the Gemballa Extremo in 1996. The final design of the car was produced by students from the Transportation Design School. The car is powered by a twin-turbo V12 engine and each cylinder has 3 valves, and a compression ratio of 9.2: 1. The interior of the car is dark, and red leather, glossy black carbon fiber, and aluminum accents. The exterior is black with a long hood, and a fuel cap, and a chrome grille.
7. Bugatti Divo
Price- $5.8 million
It is the mid-engine track-focused car that was manufactured by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. and the car was named after Alberto Divo who was a French racing driver.
The production of the car is being inspired by the Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic and Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo concept. The interior of Divo is very similar to the luxurious Chiron. The car includes carbon-fiber wiper blades, stiffer spring and damper, and intercooler shroud, a light sound system as well. The production of the car is limited to 40 units and all the 40 cars were pre-sold before the public debut. In April 2020, the car has gone through its final phase of testing and they will be delivered later this year.
8. Pagani Huayra Imola
Price- $5.4 million
Pagani Huayra is named after the famous Italian racing track and it was manufactured by the Italian sports car manufacturer, Pagani. It is the special edition of Pagani Huayra. It was officially made its debut in 2019 at a private ceremony in Switzerland. The car was limited to 100 units and in 2015, all of these have been sold out.
It is the most powerful edition of Huayra that used the same Mercedes-AMG V12 tuned to 838 PS. The exterior of the car has been changed from the standard Huayra including a large roof scoop, a large seven-section diffuser, and a more pronounced side skirts.
9. Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita
Price- 4.8 million
Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita is a mid-engine sports car that was made by Koenigsegg Automotive AB. The production of the car began with an aim to make a global car that particularly enters the United States car market and it was unveiled in 2006 at the Geneva Motor Show.
The body of the car is made from carbon fiber and aluminum honeycomb-like previous models. The car is 88mm longer, and on the interior, there is 51mm of extra headroom and Sparco carbon-fiber seats. The car was produced from 2006-2010 and total production was 49 cars. The car has won the award of Best Performing Green Exotic in 2009 and it was included in One of the 10 Most Beautiful Cars lists by Forbes magazine.
10. Lamborghini Veneno Roadster

The car was first introduced publicly at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013 and it claimed the price of $4,50,000 that made it one of the most expensive cars in the world. The car was manufactured by the Italian automobile manufacturer, Lamborghini.
The design of the car is a large departure from the previous models of Lamborghini and the T-shaped design elements are a carryover of Aventador’s design. The front of the car is designed for airflow and the smooth underbody is designed to make sure that the airflow isn’t interrupted. The car has the Pirelli P-Zero tires and it also has an Italian flag on both sides of the car.
11. Lykan Hypersport
Price- $4 million
This car is a Lebanese limited production supercar that was first launched at the Qatar Motor Show in 2013 and it was manufactured by a United Arab Emirates, W Motors.
The price of the car was $4 million that made it one of the most expensive cars and it was the first car that had headlights with embedded jewels. It was powered by 3.7 Liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine and the engine has mid-rear wheels. It also uses a MacPherson strut suspension on the front axle. This car was featured in the film, Furious 7 and its replica was used in Fast & Furious Live show in 2018. The car was purchased by the Abu Dhabi Police in 2015 and all the produced cars were sold.
12. McLaren P1 LM
Price- $3.6 million
The limited production of a hybrid sports car that was manufactured by McLaren Automobiles and the car was first unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 2012. The sales began in 2013 and all 375 cars were sold. The production of the car was ended in the fall of 2015.
The car has mid-engine, and rear-wheel drive that used a carbon fiber monocoque and roof structure of the car is a development of the MonoCell that was used in the MP4-12C. The car can be operated using the electric motor or petrol engine. The model has Formula 1 features like Instant Power Assist System that gives an instant boost in acceleration.
13. Lamborghini Sian

The hybrid sports car, Lamborghini Sian has been produced by the Italian automotive manufacturer Lamborghini, and the car has been unveiled online in 2019. It is the first hybrid car produced by the brand.
The engine of the car is like the SVJ variant of the Aventador, and it has a new exhaust system powered with 577 kW. The power of the electrical motor is in the supercapacitor unit and the exterior design has a wedge shape that mixes with the design of the Terzo Millennio concept. It is a mid-engine sports car that was designed by the Volkswagen Group and was made in France. The car was named after the racing driver, Pierre Veyron. 15. Aston Martin Valkyrie

This hybrid sports car was made by Aston Martin, Red Bull Racing, and other manufacturers collaboratively and they claimed that it is the fastest street-legal car in the world.
The exterior of the car is aerodynamic with an extremely open underfloor and it is capable of producing 4000 lb of downforce at high speed. The interior has no gauge cluster and by the left and right corners are the screens for the camera side mirror. The each seat is designed for the owner’s body shape through 3D screening and more space for entry and exit is provided by a removal steering wheel. The car was unveiled as a non-working full-scale model in Aston Martin’s headquarters in 2016 and in 2017, the car was featured in the Canadian International Auto Show as a star car.
16. Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio

Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio is a concept car that was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013 and the car was produced by the Italian design house, Pininfarina and it is a coach-built Barchetta that was based on the mechanical designing of the Ferrari 458 Spider.
The exterior of the car has floats and aerodynamic headrests that are attached to the roll bar and in front of the door panel, there are two helmets in a storage locker, and the open-top body is designed with tests and calculations. The design of the car looks purity with the use of simple and sensual elements. The car costs $3 million.
17. Aston Martin DBS Superleggera
Price- $3 million
The car was produced by British luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin. And it was unveiled as the marque’s V12 flagship grand tourer. The car uses the iconic DNS nameplate.
The front of the car has a new front bumper with a large center grille to improve engine cooling with two air extractors on the sides. The car also has the new ZF 8HP95 transmission with a final drive ratio of 2.93: and it also has the same aerodynamics on the DB11 but refined it with an F1-inspired double-diffuser. The car has two variants- DBS Superleggera Volante and DBS Superleggera OHMSS. This car will appear in the James Bond film, No Time to Die.
18. Lamborghini Sesto Elemento
Price- $2.92 million
The name of the car is a reference to the atomic number of carbon. The high-performance limited edition lightweight car was debuted at the Paris Motor Show in 2010, and it was produced by the Italian automaker, Lamborghini.
The car is equipped with 6-speed e-gear automated electrohydraulic manual transmission, and the body, chassis, suspension components, and driveshaft has been made of carbon fiber. The interior is bare without vehicle comforts like stereo, and air-conditioning. The model lacks seats and there is carbon fiber chassis instead of having foam padding. The company has produced 20 cars with each car costing $2.92 million. All the cars have been sold already.
19. Koenigsegg One
Price- $2.85 million
It is a successor to the CCX or CCXR and was made by Swedish car manufacturer Koenigsegg. This model was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2014 and the company has produced 6 cars, all of which have been sold.
This model has a variant of 5.0 L twin-turbocharged V8 engine and it comes from the power-to-weight ratio that gives the car 1 PS per 1 kg mass. The engine generates a maximum power of 1360 PS and the car is focused as opposed to the previous cars. The car has an airscoop on the removable roof. The store of the roof in the boot like previous models as there is an extra set of radiators in the front compartment.
20. Pagani Huayra BC
Price- $2.8 million
The car has been named after a Quechua wind god, Huayra-tata, and it was produced by Italian sports car manufacturer Pagani. The car was included in The Hypercar of the Year in 2012 by Top Gear Magazine.
This edition of the car was first launched at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016 and it had an improved version of the standard Huayra’s 6.0 L twin-turbocharged engine. This model comes with a lighter titanium exhaust system, and the tires are Pirelli P-Zero Corsas. This model is slightly heavier than the coupe and 30kg lighter than the Huayra roadster. The car was featured in the film, Transformers: Age of Extinction.
21. Mercedes-AMG One
Price- $2.72 million
The limited-production plug-in hybrid sports car, Mercedes-AMG One was manufactured by Mercedes-AMG and was shown up at the International Motor Show Germany in 2017.
The production of the car was 275 units and the price was $2.72 million. All of the produced cars have been sold already and the company won’t produce a further model to maintain the exclusivity of the car. The powertrain of the car is 775-918 kW, and it has five motors with different functions onboard. The interior is minimalist and driver-focused and it has napa leather and hand stitching on the bucket seats. The exterior of the car is designed for aerodynamics that included a large front air inlet.
22. Volante
Price- $2.7 million
The luxurious car, Aston Martin DB11 has been manufactured by Aston Martin and it has launched its convertible version in 2018 that is known as Volante which means Flying.
The car has a front weight distribution of 47/53 and has been powered by a 4.0-liter M177 twin-turbocharged V8 engine. This car has the same power as the V8 coupe and it can enable its accelerate from 0-100km/h. This car weighs 110kg for the chassis stiffening components. It also keeps the structural integrity of the Volante intact.
23. La Ferrari FXX K

It is high-performance limited edition car being manufactured by Ferrari, and designed by Marco Fianello.
It is Ferrari’s development and research car that is based on the brand’s first hybrid sports car, LaFerrari. This car was launched at the Yas Marina Circuit in 2014. The front of the car has a twin-profile spoiler and a large splitter. The headlights are very small and on the rear, the tail if higher, and it includes an electronically operated spoiler. The car began to produce in 2015 and ended in 2017 with a production of 40 unit cars.
24. Bugatti Chiron
Price-$2.4 million
It is a two-seater sports car that was developed by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.A. The car was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016 and the car was named after the driver, Louis Chiron.
The engine of the car has a peak power output of 1103 kW and the engine is the most powerful variant of the predecessor. The top speed of the car is electronically limited to 420km/h and mixed fuel consumption is 22.5L/100km. The price of the car is $2,400,000 and all the first 200 cars were sold before the first was delivered. At the IAA show in 2017, the car broke the record of the fastest 0-400-0km/h acceleration time.
25. Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta
Price- $2.2 million
It is the open-top version of LaFerrari and 200 cars were sold initially during Ferrari 70th Anniversary celebrations. The car was launched at the Paris Motor Show in 2016 and like the other open-top Ferrari models, it also uses the Aperta label to donate the removable roof.
This model comes with a removable carbon-fiber hardtop and a canvas soft top. It has more efficient powertrain’s control electronics, and a longer front air dam to help increase downforce. It has an L-shaped flap on the upper corner to reduce compression on the rear of the cabin in the absence of the roof. It also has a new carbon fiber that allows the doors to rotate.
26. Zenvo TS1 GT
Price- $1.9 million
The car has been unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016 and it was manufactured by the Danish automobile manufacturer, Zenvo Automotive. Initially, it was planned to produce the car at 5 units per year but later it was increased to 15 units per year for its demand.
The car is powered is by a 5.8-liter twin-supercharger V8 engine and 1139 N-m of torque at 5,500 rpm. It is equipped with a 7-speed paddle-shift automatic with helical-cut dog gears and the car uses double-wishbone suspension. The interior of the car has a dashboard and central console finished in carbon-fiber, and an Alpine audio system is there with Bluetooth connection.
27. Porsche Taycan
Price- $1.8 million
This car was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2015 and it is the first series-production electric car of Porsche. The car has been manufactured by German automobile manufacturer Porsche. The company has planned to sell the car in several variants of different performance levels.
The car uses a new battery-electric drivetrain that has a permanent-magnet synchronous motor and it allows the car to have an all-wheel-drive layout. The body of the car is mainly made up of steel and aluminum with different techniques. The battery of the car can be thermally preconditioned to reduce charge time in hot and cold temperatures. Owners will receive three years of free access to the speed charging infrastructure when they will purchase a Taycan.
28. Bentley Bentayga
Price- $1.6 million
The mid-sized car, Bentley Bentayga has been manufactured at the Volkswagen Zwickau-Mosel plant, and assembled at the Crewe factory of the company. The car was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2015 as Bentley’s first SUV.
The name, Bentayga has two origins, one comes from Roque Bentayga and the other one comes from a portmanteau of Bentley and Taiga. The car received an additional powertrain and a diesel V8 derived from the VW Group. It has issued a recall for 378 cars as some seats were not secured properly at the time of assembly.
29. Ferrari LaFerrari

This car has been designed by Italian automotive manufacturer Ferrari, and the word, LaFerrari means The Ferrari which is an Italian word, in the sense that it is the definitive Ferrari. The car was unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show in 2013 that was followed by the 2013 Supercar Chronicle, Auto Shanghai 2013, Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan, etc.
The car is coupled with 6.3-liter V12 with a 161 horsepower hybrid system and it has the feature of shutting down the V12 under light road when the high-voltage battery is charged. The interior is quite comfortable and it has been carefully sculpted. There is a toggle between tachometer visuals.
30. Aston Martin One-77
Price-$1.4 million
It is a flagship sports car that was built by the British car manufacturer Aston Martin and the car was first unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 2008 and the deliveries of the cars began at the beginning of 2011.
The car gas a full carbon fiber monocoque chassis, and a handcrafted aluminum body. The top speed of the car has been estimated to be 350km/h, and the car has the strengthened version of the automated manual transmission. The production of the car was limited to 77 units, in 2012, on the cars faced a crash in Hong Kong and reducing the number of cars to 76. The car has been awarded several internationally renowned designed awards.
